On this site I'll include everything I know
about The Psychopathic Records Family, including a Discography list, news and gossip, photos, Tour Dates, and much much more
Freshness.
The Insane Clown Posse, or ICP have been around for over 17 years now.
Over
they years they have built a reputable record label called Psychopathic
Records, which now has quite a few artists signed to it.
They are of the Dark Carnival, which they say is the motivation behind seven of their albums. These albums
are called "Joker Cards”, and there are six different cards. The last card in the set, "The Wraith"
has two albums: "Shangri-La," and "Hells Pit." The other Jokers cards include: “Carnival of Carnage”
(1992), “The Ringmaster” (1994), “The Riddlebox” (1995), “The Great Milenko”
(1997), and "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers (1999)." Those were followed by the two "The Wraith" albums that were
released in 2002 and 2004.
The had a few albums before they began the Dark Carnival saga, but they were albums that
didn't gain them much attention.
Most of their popularity began in their home city, Detroit Michigan. There without
the help of much radio play, and not much MTV play either they built the foundations of their empire.
They now have
a massive fan base whom call themselves Juggalos and who are considered family more than a fan base.
Besides the Joker
Cards, ICP has put out numerous EP's, compilations albums, and other assorted albums.
They
also have annual Christmas shows, as well as annual Halloween shows called Hallowicked.
They created the annual Gathering
of the Juggalos in 2000, and it has been held ever since. It is an event that lasts 3-4 days, with ongoing concerts, wrestling
matches, games, and socializing of Juggalos from all over the world.
They have a documentary released called "Shockumentary"
as well as a full length comedy movie called "Big Money Hustlas'"
Numerous
albums of theirs have gone gold, and two have even gone platinum. This is a defeat that has to come to them after only much
hard work, and the very dedicated Juggalos in whom without, ICP wouldn't be here still today.
